I stumbled upon this "literal video" one day. Apparently, someone thought it would be a good idea to take an 80's music video and replace the real song lyrics with a running commentary of what was happening in the video. As 80's videos were altogether lame (and how I miss their innocent lameness!) these usually turn out pretty funny. My favorite one is this literal version of A-ha's song "Take On Me."
Tomorrow I will have a big long blog since I went out tonight and was silly with my wonderful friends. Unfortunately, I am not used to taking my camera everywhere and I left it at the restaurant. I have to drive to Seattle to get it. Then I will thrill you with pictures of a dog, food and hair. Don't miss it!
Band montaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage!
Sooooo looking forward to your blog today! I'm at home with the kids helping Madison create displays for her Native American oral report due Monday. Steve is at a Duck football game. You are my amusement!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I can be of assistance!
ReplyDeleteI shared this video with my husband (the one with the cute Buffalonion accent!) and he laughed just as much as I did the first (and second) time I watched it. Of course, I had to read your blog aloud, too, and he laughed at your wit, just as I do. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteUsually my "wit" is referred to as my "smart ass attitude." I prefer your term for it.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this video is funny.
