Childhood "Memories"

A friend recently posted an old Sesame Street clip on YouTube. Which then led to me doodling around looking up old Sesame Street and The Electric Company videos. I discovered something. There are some phrases that I say All The Time that I had no idea came from these childhood shows. Some I knew the reference for. But I have been saying "I remembered, I remembered" for years, and had no memory that it came from this:




Also, for all of you who have heard me say this about a million times, I am not crazy.





Finally, one of my favorite Sesame Street tunes which I sing all the time. I must have always hated 70's style artwork, though, because I have completely blocked the animation from my brain.




So glad I can now pinpoint when my brain cells began turning to mush.

  4. I always remember Grover doing the "near/far" thing. Must be why I became (in my previous life!) a speech-language pathologist! Where's *that* you tube video?!
